ON THE ROAD
We've enjoyed a decent 3-home game run to put all connected wth the Lichtie in better humour. These three games haven't trasnformed our season bt the have a) shaken off that terrible depressing run of home defeats/non-performances and, b) brought us back in touch with other relegation/playoff rivals.
So far so good with our reshaped squad which is playing decent football in patches.
Now a real test looms. 4 away games on the trot in the space of 12 days and a busy programme of 8 games over the next month - 6 of which are away. No esy fixures either starting with longtime leader Cowden who hammered East Fife 6-2 on Saturday.
two thirds of the way through his campaign, we'll be able to tell after this next run of games is likely to have a major say on whethe we're still in the hunt to stay up or only playofs or even relegation to look forward to. After 24 games we've averaged one goal and one point per game; lost as many games as we'e taken poiints from and - hough the efence has tightened up, conceded over 1,5 per game. We need to do better in the final 12 games - we need at least 17 points to be safe (that means winning 5 or 6 of them). Not impossible.
C'mon Lichties - like last season let's see what we'e made off with good late run
