Lichties soundly beaten by Morton

Morton outplayed Arbroath to seal a win that could have been even more convincing if it had not been for some heroics from goalkeeper Neil Inglis.

Midfielders Alan Mahood and Paul Walker supplied the ammunition for Chris Templeman and Chris Millar to bombard the visitors' goal.

Walker sent a pin-point cross to the far post and Millar nodded in a beauty of an opener.

Templeman drove home an unstoppable 18-yarder after Walker's return pass.
