Lichties beaten by Shire

The Lichties u19s/ u17s lost 4-2 away to East Stirlingshire last night. Arbroath were 2-0 ahead with goals from Garry Warren and Ed Smith. The 1st goal was a beautiful shot from 20 yards out hit with Warren's left foot and flew into the corner of the net. After this Arbroath seemed to lose control of the game and 2 quick goals from Ross Donaldson and Jamie Dunbar saw Arbroath go into half time at 2-2. The 2nd half was exactly the same as the end of the 1st half with Shire getting the upper hand as they ran out 4-2 victors with Carl Thywissen and Gordon Parks scoring their 3rd and 4th respectivly.
