Travis settles five-goal thriller

Ten-man Arbroath came from two goals down to earn a 3-2 win in an entertaining top-of-the-table clash at Alloa.

The Wasps started much the better of the two sides, and took the lead after 18 minutes when Kevin Cawley found the top corner with a 20-yard strike.

Cawley scored his second of the afternoon to double his side's lead with a clinical right-footed finish in the 32nd minute.

David Holmes then stroked home Lee Sibanda's assist to start the Red Lichties comeback on the stroke of half time, before Paul Currie levelled the scores with a confident 54th minute finish.

Michael Travis completed the turnaround nine minutes later when he steered Currie's cross into the back of the net.

Paul Hartley's men were offered a route back into the game moments later when Daniel Rennie was sent off for abusive language, but they were unable to make their numerical advantage count.
