19's smash Stirling in the Scottish Cup

Arbroath soundly beat Stirling at Forthbank on Sunday in an outrageous 10 goal thriller.

The Lichties went into a 2-0 lead after 17 minutes with Garry Warren and Matt Johnson free kick. Stirling pulled a goal back on 40mins but soon after the Lichties scored a third through centre half Gray to make it 3-1 at Half Time.

Two minutes after the restart Arbroath scored a 4th though Scott Munro. Munro then scored his 2nd and Arbroath's 5th on 60 minutes to put the game out of Stirling's reach.

Traynor then scored a 6th from the spot on 65 mins and Warren scored Arbroath's 7th with 10 mins left.

Stirling got 2 goals back right near the end with 2 penalty's in the last 2 mins, with the 2nd one conceded by Jamie Martin. Final score, 7-3 Arbroath


Arbroath are now through to the 2nd round of the BP youth cup, with a home tie against St Mirren.
