The arithmetic of survival

8 wins would do it!

building blocksWhat's our target for the remainder of the season?  Over the past 12 years in Division 2, the following points total have been attained by teams in 8th (safety) and 9th (playoff spot).    The Lichties have serious work to do

Over the past 12 years, 9th place has averaged 38 points. Reaching that total (another 20 points) would give us another chance of staying in Div 2 via the playoffs,

To escape any risk, 8th placed teams have averaged 42 points (a massive 24 points more or 8 wins out of our last 15 games!).  Bit of a challenge really but not out of this world
