True supporters don't give up?

Manager John McGlashan has been feeling the pressure of late as the team slumped to four successive and dismal defeats. As usual nowadays, the moaning from the terraces is automatic when things stat going wrong.

Encouragement from the `supporters' seems ever scarcer yet we complain when the team underperform and Gayfield is no longer a fortress

I reckon there were maybe 50 Lichtie supporters at Alloa - understandably down to a hard core after the recent awful run. But they gave some encouragement and maybe more of that is needed in all games.

Here's what John McGlashan said in today's Courier... DISCUSS

....The players deserve a tremendous amount of credit because we weren't fancied for this game. I'm really chuffed for them and also for the supporters who travelled though to get behind the team on the back of three bad results.

"They are the true supporters, the ones who don't give up and stick by us through thick and thin and I take my hat off to them."
