aberdeenFrom the Courier:  Arbroath will play their third pre-season friendly of the summer this evening when they welcome a youthful Aberdeen side to Gayfield.

The Pittodrie club will send an under-20 squad south for this evening’s fixture, which has a 7.45pm kick-off, and Arbroath boss Paul Sheerin will be looking for his side to build on their 3-2 win over Lossiemouth at the weekend.

New signings Steven Milne and Bobby Linn got on the scoresheet on Saturday, sandwiching a David Banjo strike, while ex-St Johnstone youngster Ryan Sullivan and former Croydon forward Lari Yao were also given further chances to impress as trialists.

The pair could feature again this evening.

Admission prices for tonight’s game will be £8 for adults, £4 for concessions and £10 for adult and child tickets, with the same entry fees to apply for the games against Partick on Saturday and Inverness Caley Thistle on Tuesday July 23.
