smilneArbroath boss Paul Sheerin has bolstered his squad with the signing of striker Steven Milne.

“Savo” had spent the last two seasons at Dundee in what was his second spell at the club but was told by Dens boss John Brown earlier this month that his contract would not be renewed.

That news alerted Sheerin who previously played with Milne when they were at St Johnstone together. The striker will now also link up with former Dundee team-mate Graham Bayne at Gayfield next season.

Sheerin said: “I am delighted to sign Savo. He is someone I know really well and he will bring lots of experience to the squad.

“As someone who was playing in the SPL just last season, he still has a lot to offer and is an exciting addition.”
