Aidin El-Zubaidi celebrates after he scores for Arbroath

Allan Moore insists his  Arbroathside must step up a gear if they are to win the League 2 title – despite watching them romp to a four-goal win.

Aldin El-Zubaidi, Bobby Linn, Kevin Buchan and Simon Murray were all on target as the Angus side preserved their five-point cushion over Queen’s Park with a seventh win from eight games.

Moore said: “It’s a comfortable result but if I’m honest we were a bit scrappy.

“Maybe we set our standards so high and are being harsh on the players but we told them at the end we can’t afford to play like that every week.

“We’ve got a lead at the top but nothing is certain until the very last kick of the final game of the season.”
