our best Div 2 showing ever

Season 2011-12 enters the history books. Though we fell short at the final (well semi-final) hurdle, there's no overlooking this was our best ever Div 2 showing including more points and goals than we've ever managed in 8 seasons at tier 3.

We even managed to amass only 3 points fewer (and 4 goals less) than as Div 3 champions last year (and concded 10 fewer goals to boot!)

The league table below shows our head to head record.  Cowden, E Fife and Stirling never beat us once.  Only Stenny beat us twice - the only team to have a superior goal difference. 60 % of our goals for came against 4 teams (Albion, Dumbarton, East Fife and Forfar)
