Striker Max Wright is sidelined for East Stirling against leaders Arbroath after suffering a hamstring injury. On-loan Celtic youngster Luke Donnelly should shake off a knock to play but the game has come too soon for the injured Paul McMullan (foot) and Nathan Shepherd (knee).

Boss Craig Tully said: "Our recent good run ended in a 3-0 defeat from Queen's Park last weekend and while we were not at our best I thought the scoreline was harsh. "Arbroath are a very good side but I am sure we will give them a very competitive game."

Arbroath are without goalkeeper David Crawford after knee surgery with on-loan Dundee midfielder Dylan Carreiro included for the last time before returning to Dens Park.

Gayfield manager Allan Moore said: "We have recovered well from losing our games to Queen's Park and Albion Rovers by taking seven points from nine. "We are looking over our shoulder but that is still the best place to be however we need to keep winning games to stay there.

"East Stirling are an improving side but I am confident that with the strikers we have and the pace they possess we can give them plenty of problems."
