Montrose or Arbroath await Nairn County in Scottish Cup

NAIRN County have been handed a third round trip to the winner of the Montrose v Arbroath replay in the third round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.

Les Fridge’s side, who have knocked out their Highland League opponents Deveronvale then Huntly to get through to this latest stage, will face the winners of the all-League Two replay which takes place at Links Park on Saturday after last weekend’s tie finished 2-2.

The full third round draw, made today (Monday) by comedian Billy Connolly, is: East Fife v Berwick Rangers, Forfar Athletic v Cowdenbeath, Edinburgh City v Brora Rangers, Stenhousemuir v Brechin City, Hurlford United v Stirling Albion, Arbroath or Montrose v Nairn County, Elgin City or Forres Mechanics Bo'ness United, Ayr United v Alloa Athletic, Spartans or East Kilbride v Clyde, Peterhead v Stranraer, Dumbarton v Rangers, Queen's Park v Albion Rovers, Morton v Airdrieonians, Annan Athletic v Livingston, East Stirlingshire v Dunfermline Athletic and Linlithgow Rose v Raith Rovers.
