First home win in 3 months - rebuilding Fortress Gayfield

Todays Courier says that our 2-0 win against Elgin was the first since September 29th. Not strictly accurate - the last league win was 29th September against Albion but there was the Cup thrashing of Elgin in October

Whatever, its become rare to see us leave our hallowed home with a comfortable home win under our belts. Its been our away results that carried us into contention last season (72% of possible points away, compared with only 57% at home).

This season, we're second bottom this season in terms of home league form with only 13 points out of a possible 27 (9 games - ie 48%). Only Forfar have been worse.

Historically, Gayfield used to be an asset and a fortress. Time to start rebuilding. They shall not pass, starting on Saturday
