Deadly Doris struck three to add to Collin Samuel's goal that cancelled out a Bradley Coyne opener for the Loons.

Arbroath player-boss Paul Sheerin said: "I don't normally single players out but Steven has been outstanding for us and got his rewards tonight."

The visitors took the lead in 13 minutes when Coyne smashed the ball into the top corner.

But Samuel equalised with a drilled shot.

Doris then put the Red Lichties 3-1 up with a quick-fire double.

He completed his treble late on when he blasted it home from 15 yards.

Forfar boss Dick Campbell said: "We were well beaten."
