Where once we would exchange pleasantries with opposition fans and match officials (may the best side win, hip hip hoora for the other chaps), now our ears are regularly assaulted with virulent abuse and peppered by flying objects.

As for these boards, time for a bit of politeness, keeping the interaction at the level of wit and banter
