tonyFrom The Courier:  A sense of frustration led to Gayfield golakeeping coach and backup shotstopper Tony Bullock opting to leave the club.

Bullock who has played for 7 Scottish clubs joined Arbroath 18 months ago in a dual role

He was dismissed for the third time on Saturday for commetns made to referee Des Roache after Saturday's 3-4 defeat by Stenhousemuir

The 41-year old, who was on the becnh for the match, has now told Paul Sheerin he wants to take a break from football.

Sheering reported  "Tony was feeling frustrated bya number of things about Saturday's gameand unfortunately said something he should not have.   He has had a senbse of frustration about football for a while now and reckons it is best that he takes a break from it.

"I am disappointed by his decision as he has been a big character here but he probably needs to fall in love with the game again.  Hopefully, he will not be lost to it for too long and in the meantime I will be looking to secure a new goalkeeping coah and player
