Lumsden looking for quick start
Newly appointed Arbroath boss Todd Lumsden will be without the injured Scott McBride (ankle), Adam Hunter (ankle) and Paul McManus (knee) when they host Berwick .
Craig Johnstone and Jonny Lindsay are also unlikely to feature despite returning to training after knocks.
Lumsden, a former assistant to Allan Moore, is looking for a win ahead of entering the play-offs as he explained: "Arbroath have had a disappointing second half of the season so it would be good to get a win to finish the season with.
"Our performances have been good recently and I want that to continue against a Berwick side who will be determined to go out on a high."
Berwick will be without Lee Currie from their midfield after he was dismissed in last Saturday's 3-0 defeat from East Fife.
Ross Drummond remains out with an ankle injury while Steven Notman and Scott Maxwell are both struggling with knocks.
Manager Colin Cameron said: "It was a disappointing result last weekend especially as there was little between the teams for large parts of the game. We started chasing after we went a goal behind and got picked off.
"We have not shown how good a side we can be consistently but it would be good to end the campaign with a strong performance and good result at Gayfield."
