Late Peterheid equaliser denies the Lichties third win in a row

Arbroath's first encounter with Peterhead (we swapped leagues 4 years ago) showed the determination and skill of the last two games was no fluke. Decent showing

Rattray was injured so Raeside returned against one of his former clubs - otherwise it was the same starting eleven as the past 2 games. Scott and Fraser were subbed at/just after halftime replaced by Wright and Masson respectively. Good turnout of away fans some in beachwear despite the weather

Peterhead had the upper hand most of the game and most of the chances but both sides hit woodwork.   The home side dominated the opening 45 minutes but were unable to convert their chances. Should we have had a penalty?

Arbroath took the lead in the 64th minute with a superb 20-yard strike from substitute Terry Masson.   It looked like being enough for a surprise Lichtie win until former Lichtie Stuart McKay denied Arbroath victory in the 88th minute with a curling shot past Arbroath goalkeeper Darren Hill.

Well done Lichties
