From The Courier : ARBROATH ARE set to let the transfer window close later today without making moves to strengthen or offload.
But look out for the Lichties seeking to utilise the emergency loan system to tempt some top flight talent to Gayfield in the coming weeks.
"There will be nothing happening either in or out before the deadline," confirmed manager John McGlashan last night.
"We're in the ideal position in that even after the window shuts we can sign people on 94-day emergency loans.
"And it may well be that we'll approach some SPL teams to see if they have lads who are too old for the youths but not quite ready for the first-team who'd do a job for us."
